We’re really excited to share that the Intensive Care Unit (ITU) staff rooms at Queen’s Hospital have had a full makeover!

Thanks to your amazing support, our charity was able to fund a complete refurbishment – including comfy new sofas and sofa beds, fridges and microwaves to make breaks easier, modern tables and chairs, and some lovely new artwork to brighten the space.

These rooms are more than just somewhere to sit. They are where our hardworking doctors and nurses take a well-earned break, eat lunch, discuss patient care, and even run teaching sessions. Our ITU teams work around the clock, often in high-pressure situations, and we’re so proud to give them a space that helps them relax, recharge and continue doing the incredible work they do every day.
